Hi. When building a form, you are asked to indicate whether or not a field in the form should display in search results. For example, I have a form that asks for contact information for my own records, but I don’t want to display that contact information on the listing. But, despite the fact that I have left the “Show in Search Results” unchecked, the field still shows up. How do I get this to stop?

Also – I have the contact add on and I have it marked to show in the Add On, but it is not showing up either.

The contact addon has nothing to do with the Form Builder. It also does not indicate any compatibility with the Form Builder on its product page

The “Show in Results” options require that you use one of the Form Builder display_listing options. This is explained in our documentation

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. I changed the short code on the listings display page to [display_listings type=”blfb2a”] and went back to make sure that the owner contact information fields (Owner First, Owner Last, Email, Phone) were not checked “Show in Results”. They ARE NOT and still show up on the results page.

You can see that the fields are appearing even though the “Show in Results” field is not checked in the formbuilder.

Have you cleared your cache? When you add the “show in results” option, to a field thats not currently being shown, does it show up?

The “Show In Results” option is referring to search results. What you need is the “Hide on Page” option, which currently is only available for heading fields. Hiding other form field values on detail pages is not currently possible without some custom css.
