When I use the search form with Ajax turned on the search form disappears and just the buttons (search & reset) are left behind. Turning Ajax off eliminates this problem, but then the entire page refreshes which is not desired.

Using BP Listings 2.2.0015 and BP Form Builder 1.0.403. I don’t know what version this was introduced, but I know it did not work this way at one point.

Hi Jim,

Does the issue persist with one of the stock wordpress themes (e.g. twentyfifteen) and all plugins not created by our team deactivated? This would help us to confirm there were no conflicts introduced

I tried deactivating all non-BePro plugin and switching to the twentyfifteen theme and the problem persists. I even tried creating a new page and added the Search Filter widget. When I submit the search form the form disappears.

We are not able to replicate the issue and have not received any other customer messages about the issue.

Have you made any alterations to BePro Listings or its Form Builder?

I have made other modifications but have tried reinstalling the base listings and forms plug-ins and the problem persists. This problem was introduced about 2 months ago with an update. It was working fine before that.

The fact that it was displaying “Array” above the form for the last couple months and nobody complained about that either suggests to me either people don’t report these issues or are not upgrading to the latest. You just fixed the “Array” issue last week even though I reported it a couple months ago. The Ajax form problem started around the same time as the Array problem.

The array issue was caused by your unique implementation of plugins. We unfortunately missed it on our demo sites. The form did not disappear when our team tested it on your website during the array error fix. In fact, everything worked 100% when we left it.

Our demo website uses the Form Builder and BePro Listings without this issue.

Can you share a link and login to the fresh installation you created with the issue persisting? We would appreciate an opportunity to observe the issue and test there

I have narrowed down the problem. If I remove the custom bepro form from the shortcode then the ajax form works fine. When I add it then the ajax form disappears on submit.

Example:
