I really want to remove the distance criteria in the search filter. How can that be done?
Can I insert another criteria like city or area instead?

Hi René,

The only ways to hide the distance search criteria are

1. Uncheck the admin option “Show Geo”
2. Use custom css (may need a developer)

Regarding other search criteria, the only way to show or hide items is via custom php and/or css. There are several reasons for this, the biggest one being efficient/fast searches
