Since I moved my BePro development to the production stage, I noticed that the author field does no longer show in the WP-dashboard.
There ia still a bloch with the header: Author, but nothing below.
Is this a particulat seting that I can correct>

I run on a https:// server, could that play a role?

That’s unusual. That feature is facilitated by wordpress, we do not control it other than turning it on. Can you see the author setting for posts and pages?
