Hello,
We’re switching to a BePro-Listings based directory that will allow members on a 300+ member site to create their own directory listings. We want to upload all the member listing info via CSV, and have run a couple of successful tests already.
One issue however is that we would like to set the author of each listing as its associated member, for instance if John Doe is a member, the listing for John Doe would have him as the Author.
I attempted to make this happen by adding a post_author column to the csv file, but it’s not taking – the admin doing the upload still appears as the author. The other custom fields are working.
Is there a way to assign authors via CSV?
Thanks!
Hi,
There is not currently an option to do this. However, we do have logic in the plugin to fetch the user by their username and password. Would it help if we made that the first option in determining post author compared to the logged in user?
