Every time there is an update I have to re-upload single-listing.php to the template folder in the plugin.
I have copied the templates folder to my theme and created bepro-listings folder with a templates folder within in, all to no avail.
Can someone please tell me how to have a sinngle-listing.php that does not get overwritten on updates?
Thank you much.
Hi,
You should never change any files packaged with BePro Listings.
The following outlines details for creating a template file for the single listing page
– https://www.beprosoftware.com/documentation/bepro-listings-template-files/
The follow outlines how to reconstruct what shows up on the details page
– https://www.beprosoftware.com/documentation/custom-page-template/
The following outlines wordpress action hooks which you can interface and override BePro Listings features

In short, there is never any reason to edit any of the files packaged with BePro Listings. We provide several ways to interface with the plugin from your theme’s function.php file. In fact, we recommend that you create a child theme and use its function.php file to not ever have to worry about updates of any kind.
Any wordpress developer should be able to help you. Or you can hire a member of our BePro Software Team to create what you need. Simply outline your goals and current custom modifications and we will provide a quote.
