Hi folks,
Is it possible to change the displayed text for “Item Name” and/or Categories. I am using BePro Listings to start/keep a neighborhood pet directory. I would like to have Item name replaced with “Pet Name”; Description (on Submission form) say “Pet description/information” and Categories replaces with “species”

It will make it easier for the folks in my neighborhood to submit their animals to the directory if I could change some of the displayed text.

I could be wromg but i *think* its beprolistings-options-catagory headings that you would change.

Give that a try?

Thanks for the information. Where is beprolistings-options-catagory? Can I backup and edit that from within WordPress, or do I have to access the back-end files?

The “item name” text is editable via the BePro Listings->Options admin page. Look at the search/listigns tab

Changing labels on the front end form requires the Form Builder addon or custom coding

So i when i update your plugin then all changes are removed .

Hi Umakant,

You should never edit any of the BePro Listings files, for the very issue you are experiencing.
