What is the shortcode builder?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This tool allows you to select from a list of available shortcodes and their options. To reveal the tool, while editing a page or post, click the BePro tinymce button located above the description.<\/p>\n

How do I implement custom form fields?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You will need our form builder addon<\/p>\n

Can i charge users to post?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, the base free plugin integrates with BePro Cart<\/a> for paypal payments and any other payment option provided by that plugin. We also have membership addons so you can restrict features and # of listings by user level<\/p>\n

Is it possible to add addresses to the URL?<\/h4>\n

Yes, simply activate the feature as showcased in our permalinks documentation<\/a><\/p>\n

Can I be notified of various activities in my Directory?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, BePro Listings integrates with BePro Email. By default, BePro Listings tries to add emails to BePro Email. You can then add to them, edit the default ones or delete them altogether. Once you understand how BePro Email works, we bet you will wonder why its not integrated into wordpress by default.<\/p>\n

Does this work with posts and pages?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, it works anywhere shortcodes are accepted<\/p>\n

Do shortcodes and widets work together?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, if they are on the page where a form submission is received, they will react to the submission. The easiest way to do this is with our [bl_all_in_one] shortcode<\/p>\n

How can I customize the layout?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

You should never alter any of the packaged BePro Listings files. We have created the css to be easily overridden\u00a0by your custom css. Also, the templates are little more than wordpress hooks, so you can override them or create your own.<\/p>\n

Can I add Markers to the Map?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Markers are generated by posts which match a search criteria. To have a marker on the map, you must have created a post. Marker icons can be changed with our BePro Listings Icons addon<\/p>\n

What is the Map showing by default?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The latest X listings added to the system<\/p>\n

How to make markers react on click instead of hover?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This is a css style related issue (your theme). Specifically, its the addition of max-width declarations to images. For details, you can google the issue (google maps max-width). Lots of bootstrap themes use this css declaration.<\/p>\n

Try changing the query type under map in the admin<\/p>\n

No. You must use our Form Builder addon<\/a> to facilitate custom fields<\/p>\n

What if i dont want to link to the created listing page?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We offer 4 different link options including ajax page and affiliate linking to another site<\/p>\n

Are there ways to extend the features?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, there are lots of hooks\/filters and templates (listings\/page)<\/p>\n

Can i setup featured listings?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, you can specify categories and flag the listings as featured via options for the [display_listings] shortcode. Consult the shortcode documentation.<\/p>\n

Do i need to create templates for detail pages if I use ajax pages?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, listing detail pages are generated whether you use them or not. This is a huge asset for seo reasons. There is a strong chance that users will first visit your website via one of those pages.
